David Dutwin is a scholar of political communication, the formation of mass opinion, and research methodologies. He has taught at the Universities of Washington, Pennsylvania, and Arizona. Dr. Dutwin is the Vice President of Social Science Research Solutions, a branch of International Communications Research, located in Media, PA. He works with a number of clientele on survey research projects including ABC News, the Washington Post, the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, the Urban Institute, Public Agenda, the Pew Hispanic Center, AARP, and many others. In addition to his upcoming book on raising children in the age of digital media, Unplug Your Kids, he has published a number of research articles on topics ranging from nursing shortages to Hispanic political party affiliation to best practices regarding high quality survey research. David is a Research Scholar of the Institute for Jewish and Community Research, where he is currently working on two book projects regarding collegiate faculty--one on tolerance and the other on the sociopolitical culture of faculty on campus. David attained his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. |
